About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist in all operational duties of the Community Manager including reporting, rent processing, and leasing
- Manage and promote resident satisfaction and retention by resolving complaints and requests
- Handle property finances including collecting, posting, and depositing rents and security deposits
- Oversee property operations and staff in the Community Manager's absence
- Conduct business in accordance with Fair Housing, ADA, and company policies
- Assist with leasing duties and touring prospective residents
- Maintain compliance files and resident records
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience as an Assistant Community Manager
- Knowledge of LIHTC/Tax Credit Programs
- Proficiency in Yardi Voyager Property Management software
- Understanding of landlord/tenant law and Fair Housing Laws
- Strong bookkeeping and rent collection skills
- Proficiency in Windows (Word, Excel), internet, and email
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
