About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee everyday operations and financial functions, including rent collection and delinquency management
- Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable and post all income accurately
- Manage end-of-the-month closing procedures and financial reporting
- Supervise onsite staff, providing training, coaching, and guidance to ensure performance and compliance
- Implement marketing and leasing strategies to meet occupancy goals
- Handle resident concerns and develop retention programs to ensure high satisfaction
- Maintain property appearance through regular inspections and coordination with maintenance staff
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn onsite property management software
- Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
- Knowledge of OSHA requirements
- Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods and moving between worksites
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Two years of experience in the housing industry
