About the role

Responsibilities

  • Oversee everyday operations and financial functions, including rent collection and delinquency management
  • Process and reconcile daily accounts receivable and post all income accurately
  • Manage end-of-the-month closing procedures and financial reporting
  • Supervise onsite staff, providing training, coaching, and guidance to ensure performance and compliance
  • Implement marketing and leasing strategies to meet occupancy goals
  • Handle resident concerns and develop retention programs to ensure high satisfaction
  • Maintain property appearance through regular inspections and coordination with maintenance staff

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn onsite property management software
  • Knowledge of Fair Housing Laws
  • Knowledge of OSHA requirements
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including standing for long periods and moving between worksites

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Two years of experience in the housing industry
