Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a large portfolio of energy conservation projects in city-owned properties to achieve GHG reduction goals
- Lead the development of new programs including deep retrofits, low-energy design, and citywide energy efficiency building services
- Supervise teams of engineers, sustainability analysts, project managers, and technical staff
- Advise on strategic matters including procurement, budget, policy, and communications
- Oversee the implementation of energy efficiency, clean energy, and electrification projects across the city
- Manage the development and implementation of the DEM's project tracking platform (Salesforce)
Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college
- Four years of satisfactory, full-time experience related to the duties of the position
- At least 18 months of experience in an administrative, managerial, or executive capacity or supervising personnel
- Equivalent combination of education and experience
