Assistant Colorist

Responsibilities

• Support Licensed Colorists to deliver a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure
• Perform shampooing, conditioning, blowouts, styling, hot tool styling, treatments, and toner services
• Assist with finishing services and add-on product applications
• Contribute to monthly sales goals and KPIs including retail, services, and memberships
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, inventory, and asset security
• Drive revenue through service add-ons, memberships, subscriptions, and home hair care sales
• Complete Assistant-to-Colorist training, mastering color theory and application skills

Requirements

• Active cosmetology license in the state of application
• Entry-level customer service or retail sales experience; salon or beauty background preferred
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment
• Comfortable using point of sale systems
• Fluency in English
