Assistant Colorist

Responsibilities

• Perform behind-the-chair services including shampooing, conditioning, styling, blowouts, and toner services
• Assist in finishing services and add-on product applications
• Contribute to monthly sales goals for retail, services, and memberships
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, and inventory standards for the Hair Color Bar
• Drive revenue through memberships, subscriptions, and home hair care sales
• Complete Assistant Colorist to Colorist training to master color theory and application skills

Requirements

• Active cosmetology license in the state of application
• Entry-level experience in customer service or retail sales
• Effective communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to operate point of sale systems
• Fluency in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a salon or beauty industry environment
