Assistant Coach, Women's Soccer

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach in the development and administration of a successful NCAA Division II intercollegiate soccer program.
• Conduct practice and game coaching in compliance with University and NCAA rules and regulations.
• Design and coordinate practice sessions and prepare effective game strategies.
• Support the recruitment and retention of academically and athletically qualified prospective student-athletes through scouting and home visits.
• Provide leadership and supervision regarding the academic progress and personal development of student-athletes.
• Assist with team travel, including the supervision and transport of student-athletes.
• Perform video/breakdown analysis and scouting of opponents.
• Maintain positive public relations and represent Bentley University professionally.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 1+ years of coaching experience and/or participation in the sport at the varsity level.
• Valid, unrestricted United States driver’s license with an insurable driving history.
• Ability to work a flexible, non-traditional schedule, including evenings, weekends, and limited overnight assignments.
• Demonstrated knowledge of innovative coaching strategies and techniques.
• Proven ability to mentor student-athletes and work effectively with diverse groups.
