Assistant Coach-Women's Soccer

Responsibilities

• Support the head coach in all facets of the Women’s soccer program to ensure a successful Division I team
• Lead player development initiatives and oversee academic supervision for student-athletes
• Coordinate recruiting efforts and scouting activities
• Manage community relations, scheduling, and equipment management
• Perform other functionally related duties as assigned to maintain a quality program

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or state recognized equivalent
• Experience as a competitor or coach at the club, college, or international level
• Valid driver’s license and ability to establish driver eligibility under university policy
• Knowledge of NCAA and conference rules and legislation
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint)
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in sports management or a related field
• Experience in practice and game day coaching specifically for goalkeepers
