Assistant Coach – Women’s Soccer

Responsibilities

• Assist with all aspects of a competitive NCAA Division III women’s soccer program
• Attend and actively participate in practices, games, and team travel
• Support the recruitment of student-athletes who fit the academic and athletic profile of Blackburn
• Contribute to practice planning and game-day strategy
• Promote the academic and personal development of student-athletes
• Support the head coach with administrative tasks, including inventory, scheduling, and compliance
• Participate in departmental and team fundraising activities
• Represent the college positively in campus, conference, and community settings

Requirements

• Previous experience as a coach or athlete at the high school, collegiate, or professional level
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with coaches, support staff, and campus departments
• A genuine interest in mentoring student-athletes
• Ability to meet the physical requirements of the position
