Assistant Coach, Women’s Lacrosse

Responsibilities

• Provide individual instruction and skill development to student-athletes to foster growth in lacrosse knowledge and technique
• Serve as an on-court assistant coach during practices and games
• Utilize video analysis for student-athlete development, opponent scouting, and game plan creation
• Identify, evaluate, and recruit talented student-athletes through off-campus visits and hosting on-campus visits
• Assist the Head Coach with marketing, donor relations, events, and the coordination of camps
• Schedule practices, team travel, and team events
• Cooperate with academic advisers to support the academic progress and success of student-athletes
• Monitor the sportsmanship and conduct of student-athletes both on and off the field
• Guide the work of student employees, interns, and volunteers

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Minimum of 3 years of related work experience
• Minimum of 3 years of experience playing lacrosse

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience playing or working in Division 1 lacrosse
• Experience playing at the professional level
