Assistant Coach, Women's Basketball

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach in the organization and implementation of systems, practices, and game plans
• Provide technical expertise in the fundamentals of basketball and advise on game strategy
• Support recruitment efforts and team member selection
• Assist with practice sessions and the coaching of intercollegiate contests
• Guide and mentor student-athletes, contributing to their spiritual development and discipleship
• Support program improvements, team unity, and daily athletic program operations
• Ensure program compliance with University policy, conference rules, and NAIA guidelines

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Demonstrated proficiency in the sport of basketball
• Competence in using Microsoft Office suite and other computer software
• Ability to testify to a personal experience of salvation in Jesus Christ and affirm the University’s Statement of Faith

Preferred Qualifications

• At least two years of intercollegiate coaching experience
• Extensive collegiate-level player experience
