Assistant Coach, Women’s Basketball

Responsibilities

• Assist in all aspects of coaching a highly competitive NCAA Women’s Basketball team
• Implement and maintain a quality recruiting program to attract student-athletes
• Monitor student-athlete academic performance and foster athletic and academic progress
• Coordinate practices, pre- and post-game meetings, and team strength and conditioning activities
• Manage team travel, meal arrangements, and equipment inventory
• Assist with budget preparation and fiscal responsibility for the team
• Perform marketing and public relations duties to promote the program and participate in community service
• Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and travel with the team

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Collegiate level coaching or competition experience
• Experience with NCAA or equivalent regulations
• Commitment to Division III philosophy
• Valid driver license with a good driving record (must be insurable)
• Ability to travel and work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends
