About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support the planning, development, and administration of all phases of the UCLA Men's Volleyball program
  • Assist with practice planning, game preparation, and recruiting elite collegiate athletes
  • Manage administrative tasks, special projects, and fiscal budgeting responsibilities
  • Adhere to all policies and guidelines set by the University of California System, UCLA Department of Intercollegiate Athletics, and the NCAA
  • Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the program

Requirements

  • Proven ability to assist in recruiting, developing, and training elite athletes at the collegiate level
  • Demonstrated experience with fiscal management and budgeting
  • Strong knowledge of NCAA Division I rules and regulations with a record of compliance
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with student-athletes, administrators, and the public
  • Ability to travel up to 10% for team competitions and activities
  • Must possess and maintain current certifications in first aid, CPR, and AED use

Preferred Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of demonstrated coaching experience at the Division I level
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
