Assistant Coach

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, development, and administration of all phases of the Men's Soccer program
• Assist with practice planning, game preparation, and recruiting elite collegiate athletes
• Manage administrative tasks, special projects, and fiscal budgeting responsibilities
• Adhere to all policies and guidelines set by the University of California, UCLA Athletics, and the NCAA
• Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the program

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with fiscal management and budgeting
• Proven ability to assist in recruiting, developing, and training elite athletes at the collegiate level
• Strong communication skills for interacting with student-athletes, administrators, and the public
• Comprehensive knowledge of NCAA Division I rules and regulations
• Current certifications in first aid, CPR, and AED use
• Ability to travel up to 10% for team competitions and activities

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of demonstrated coaching experience at the Division I level
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
