About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the planning, development, and administration of all phases of the Women's Rowing program
- Assist with practice planning, game preparation, and athlete training
- Lead recruiting efforts to identify and attract elite collegiate athletes
- Manage administrative tasks, special projects, and fiscal budgeting
- Ensure strict adherence to NCAA Division I rules, conference regulations, and university policies
- Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the athletic program
Requirements
- Proven ability to recruit, develop, and train elite athletes at the collegiate level
- Demonstrated experience with fiscal management and budgeting
- Strong knowledge of NCAA Division I rules and regulations
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with student-athletes, administrators, and the public
- Ability to maintain current certifications in first aid, CPR, and AED use
- Willingness to travel up to 10% for team competitions and activities
Preferred Qualifications
- 3-5 years of demonstrated coaching experience at the Division I level
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
