Assistant Coach, Track & Field

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach with all aspects of the track and field program
• Lead practice preparation specifically for long and triple jumping events
• Manage meet preparation, equipment set up, and travel logistics
• Supervise and assist in the weight room
• Support the personal, academic, and athletic progress of student-athletes
• Collaborate with the coaching staff to pursue program goals

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required
• 1-3 years of collegiate coaching experience
• Successful completion of a pre-employment background check
• Valid Child Protection Clearances (Act 153)
• Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• Specific experience coaching long and triple jumpers
• Experience as a horizontal jumps athlete
