About the role

Responsibilities

  • Lead and implement specialized strength and conditioning programs for Softball, Men’s soccer, Men’s basketball, and Men’s/Women’s Golf and Tennis
  • Collaborate across multi-sport programs to provide assistance for Football, Volleyball, Women’s Soccer, and Men’s/Women’s Cross Country
  • Manage the daily organization, calibration, and execution of Hawkin Dynamic force plate testing
  • Participate in the management of the graduate and undergraduate internship program through the University of Pittsburgh
  • Foster a collaborative environment with Athletic Trainers to ensure safe training for rehabilitating athletes
  • Execute performance profiling to evaluate power, speed, fitness, strength, and agility
  • Maintain weight room equipment and inventory
  • Teach a weight training course in the Physical Education Program
  • Support the Department of Athletics in event operations and special events

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required (Master's degree preferred)
  • CSCS or CSCCA certification required
  • 1-3 years of experience or 1,000 hours of experience in a collegiate strength and conditioning program
  • Successful background check
  • Child Protection Clearances
  • Motor Vehicle Records (MVR)
