About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist in all aspects of the intercollegiate Women’s Rugby team
- Support practice planning and the development of game strategies
- Assist with team travel and other scheduled team events
- Motivate and effectively communicate with student-athletes
- Promote a positive environment within the Athletics Department and the college community
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Knowledge of Rugby strategy and training methods
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet College Motor Vehicle Policy standards
- Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a stressful environment
- Working knowledge of NCAA and NESCAC rules
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field
- Demonstrated effectiveness in coaching Women’s Rugby
