About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist with all aspects of the intercollegiate Women’s Rugby team
- Support practice planning and the development of game strategies
- Coordinate team travel and participate in other team events
- Motivate student-athletes and promote a positive culture within the Athletics Department
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent required
- Knowledge of Rugby strategy and training methods
- Ability to motivate and effectively communicate with student-athletes
- Working knowledge of NCAA and NESCAC rules and philosophies
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet College motor vehicle policies
- Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field
- Demonstrated effectiveness in coaching Women’s Rugby
