About the role

Responsibilities

  • Assist with all aspects of the intercollegiate Women’s Rugby team
  • Support practice planning and the development of game strategies
  • Coordinate team travel and participate in other team events
  • Motivate student-athletes and promote a positive culture within the Athletics Department

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Knowledge of Rugby strategy and training methods
  • Ability to motivate and effectively communicate with student-athletes
  • Working knowledge of NCAA and NESCAC rules and philosophies
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet College motor vehicle policies
  • Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education or a related field
  • Demonstrated effectiveness in coaching Women’s Rugby
