Assistant Coach Mens Volleyball

Responsibilities

• Assist with practice session scheduling and supervision of team personnel during varsity games
• Support athlete recruitment efforts, specifically targeting high school athletes
• Coordinate, collect, and manage equipment and supplies, including preparing seasonal needs reports
• Drive College vehicles to away games
• Maintain accurate reports and logs regarding athlete injuries, sport statistics, and equipment inventory
• Assist with public relations and media coverage, including news releases and personal interviews
• Attend required college events such as coaches meetings and open houses
• Adhere to all department coverage needs and Campus Security Act guidelines

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree or equivalent (60 college credits)
• One year of playing experience in high school or college volleyball
• One year of organized league coaching experience in volleyball
• Valid driver’s license in good standing
• First Aid/CPR Certification (must be obtained prior to the start of the season)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree
• Two years of experience as an active player for a high school or college team
• One year of experience coaching at the high school or college level
