About the role
Responsibilities
- Mentor the Club’s membership as both competitive athletes and campus leaders
- Design and supervise all practices and games, both home and away
- Serve as an essential on-field risk manager
- Work with the Head Coach and Office of Sports Medicine to ensure medical clearance compliance
- Assist student club leaders with practice and game scheduling
- Oversee the club president and team captains regarding administrative obligations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree or relevant experience
- Coaching experience, preferably at the collegiate level
- USA Rugby Level 200 coaching certification
- Strong leadership and motivational skills
- Ability to work irregular hours including early mornings, nights, and weekends
- Ability to travel for competition
