Assistant Coach Men's & Women's Track & Field and Cross Country

Responsibilities

• Teach and coach student-athletes to develop tactical, technical, and physical skills required for intercollegiate success
• Assist the head coach in talent assessment, recruiting, database management, and conducting campus visits
• Support program administration including budget management, fundraising, and summer camp administration
• Coordinate team travel arrangements and competition scheduling
• Ensure program compliance with NCAA, Horizon League, and University regulations
• Monitor student-athlete academic progress to maintain eligibility
• Collaborate with athletic training and sports performance staff regarding athlete health and safety

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Previous coaching and recruiting experience OR experience competing in Track & Field or Cross Country at the collegiate level
