Assistant Coach - Men's & Women's Tennis

Responsibilities

• Assist Head Coaches in the management, administration, and skill development of both men's and women's tennis programs.
• Provide technical skill instruction and conduct individual training sessions to aid student-athlete development.
• Develop and execute practice plans to prepare teams physically and mentally for competition.
• Prepare scouting reports on opponents and assist in match preparation.
• Manage recruitment activities, including evaluating talent and communicating with prospective student-athletes and parents.
• Ensure program compliance with all University, Conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.
• Monitor student-athlete academic progress and assist with degree advancement.
• Support administrative tasks such as travel coordination, equipment ordering, and expense reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• 2+ years of coaching or management experience in a college or club tennis program.
• Extensive knowledge of tennis and NCAA rules and regulations.
• Proficiency with personal computer applications.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• 3-5 years of coaching experience at the collegiate level.
• Experience coaching both men's and women's programs.
• Division I playing experience.
