Assistant Coach - Men's Ice Hockey

Responsibilities

• Assist with on-ice coaching, including practice planning, skill development, systems, and special teams.
• Scout opponents and prepare detailed video reports for game planning.
• Lead recruiting efforts by identifying and evaluating prospective student-athletes in compliance with NCAA rules.
• Mentor student-athletes regarding academic progress, personal development, and team standards.
• Manage team logistics such as travel coordination, equipment oversight, and scheduling.
• Perform film breakdown and statistical analysis to maintain player performance records.
• Assist with strength and conditioning coordination and injury prevention protocols.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• Collegiate playing experience or prior coaching experience at the collegiate or junior level.
• Strong knowledge of hockey systems, tactics, and player development techniques.
• Comprehensive knowledge of NCAA rules and recruiting regulations.
• Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills.
