Assistant Coach, Lacrosse

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach in organization and implementation of systems, practices, and game plans
• Provide technical expertise in the fundamentals of lacrosse
• Support recruitment and team member selection efforts
• Assist with practice sessions and coaching of intercollegiate contests
• Guide and mentor student-athletes throughout the school year
• Support program improvements and foster spiritual development and discipleship
• Ensure program compliance with University policy, conference rules, and NAIA guidelines
• Assist with daily operations of the athletic program

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree
• Proficiency in lacrosse
• Ability to move and transport equipment up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work in varied environments including locker rooms, gyms, and outdoor fields
• Willingness to travel for intercollegiate competitions and recruiting

Preferred Qualifications

• At least two years of intercollegiate coaching experience
• Extensive collegiate-level player experience
