Assistant Coach, Basketball

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Primary Offensive Coordinator for the Women’s basketball program
• Collaborate with the Head Coach to plan and lead non-contact drill instruction
• Assist with team practices, scouting, and game strategy preparation
• Support the skill development and progression of guards
• Assist in recruiting efforts by identifying and evaluating prospective student-athletes
• Support the Head Coach in all facets of daily program operations

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree required
• Coaching experience at the college, AAU, or high school level
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to remain composed in high-pressure situations
• Effective communication skills with diverse groups, including student-athletes and families
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings and afternoons, Monday through Saturday
• Commitment to following NCAA and Centennial Conference regulations
