Assistant Coach, Baseball

Responsibilities

• Assist the Head Coach in the day-to-day operations of the baseball program
• Execute recruitment strategies to meet roster goals set by the athletics department
• Lead practice and training preparation as well as game day scheduling
• Ensure academic accountability and support student-athlete mentorship
• Integrate Christian faith into the program through intentional discipleship and community service
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the program's success

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required (Master's degree preferred)
• Demonstrated commitment to the university's Christian mission and core commitments
• Ability to mentor student-athletes from a biblical worldview perspective
• Experience in recruiting and athletic program preparation
• Availability to travel for competitions and recruitment activities
• Comfort with praying with and for students, faculty, and staff
