Assistant Cloud Administrator

Responsibilities

• Provision resources and maintain the cloud environment by adding new servers or databases
• Examine performance metrics and troubleshoot issues within cloud environments
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues
• Manage security for cloud environments by monitoring access requests and security logs
• Maintain and upgrade cloud environment components and OS for optimal performance
• Manage Azure cloud resources including virtual machines, scale-sets, storage, and virtual networks
• Develop new features and functionality for existing systems
• Monitor system performance to meet business requirements and identify potential issues
• Provide technical support for the cloud computing platform to internal customers
• Provide technical backend and end user support for Section8\HAS Elite Published app

Requirements

• Ability to manage Azure cloud resources (VMs, scale-sets, storage, VNETs, databases)
• Experience provisioning and maintaining cloud environments
• Ability to maintain and upgrade cloud environments and Operating Systems
• Experience troubleshooting cloud environment performance and availability
• Ability to manage cloud security and monitor access logs
• Experience monitoring system performance and recommending solutions
• Ability to coordinate with vendors and internal teams
• Experience supporting Section8 \ HAS Elite System on AVD on Azure environment
• Baccalaureate degree with 24 computer science credits and 2 years of software experience, OR 6 years of software experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD)
• Experience with Office 365
• Experience with CLI and Log Analytics
