About the role

Responsibilities

  • Support the operational management of research studies and oversee day-to-day coordination of clinical trials.
  • Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, training, and mentorship of Clinical Research Assistants and Coordinators.
  • Monitor staff workload, assign study responsibilities, and support performance management processes.
  • Ensure accurate and timely data collection, entry, and validation in compliance with study protocols.
  • Implement quality control measures to ensure data integrity and audit readiness for monitoring visits and inspections.
  • Collaborate with investigators, research nurses, and regulatory staff to facilitate efficient study execution.
  • Assist with study start-up activities, feasibility assessments, and patient recruitment/retention efforts.
  • Support financial and administrative tasks, including tracking study budgets and expenditures.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and workflow improvements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in education, training, and experience.
  • 3 years of related experience in a clinical research setting.
  • Thorough understanding of ICH-GCP and CFR guidelines.
  • Proficiency with MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Certification as a Clinical Research Professional (ACRP and/or SoCRA).
  • Minimum one year of supervisory or team lead experience.
  • Experience in an academic medical center or oncology research setting.
  • Familiarity with clinical trial management systems and electronic data capture platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
