Assistant Clinical Professor

Responsibilities

• Develop, teach, and evaluate courses within the BSN pathway completion program
• Assist the program as it transitions into a stand-alone pre-licensure program
• Collaborate with the Nursing Program Director and interdisciplinary faculty
• Engage in impactful service opportunities that advance the common good
• Support the University's commitment to inclusive excellence and Marianist values

Requirements

• Master's degree in nursing from an accredited institution
• Three years of experience as a practicing Registered Nurse (RN)
• Current, valid, and unencumbered Ohio Registered Nurse (RN) license (or eligibility to obtain one)
• Effective written communication skills
• Ability to support the University's commitment to inclusive excellence

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience teaching in an educational setting
• Experience mentoring or teaching socially and culturally inclusive communities
• Strong interpersonal and oral communication skills
• Knowledge of the accreditation process and professional nursing standards
• Terminal degree in nursing or a related field
