Assistant Clinical Director/Program Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Assist in the coordination and oversight of daily counseling center operations and clinical documentation processes.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA, university policies, ethical standards, and counseling center procedures.
• Support intake coordination, referral processes, and client assignment procedures.
• Assist with administrative coordination of the graduate counseling program, including student registration and degree audits.
• Support departmental financial processes, including budget transfers, requisitions, and purchasing requests.
• Assist with accreditation-related documentation and data collection, specifically supporting CACREP accreditation processes.
• Provide guidance to students regarding counseling center procedures, documentation expectations, and professionalism standards.
• Maintain organized records, reports, and spreadsheets for departmental purposes.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Higher Education, Student Affairs, or a closely related field.
• Experience working in a clinical mental health, university, or higher education setting.
• Knowledge of ethical standards, documentation practices, and HIPAA compliance.
• Proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Current independent or Associate professional licensure in Texas (LPC/Associate, LMFT/Associate, or equivalent).
