Assistant Clinical Cardiologist

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional, specialized patient care with consistently excellent outcomes
• Mentor junior colleagues to support their professional development and growth
• Contribute to departmental initiatives, including quality improvement and patient safety efforts
• Engage in continuing medical education (CME) and maintain relevant advanced certifications
• Serve as a trusted resource for complex cases and high-acuity patients
• Achieve and uphold high patient satisfaction scores and meet productivity targets
• Participate in call coverage for the group
• Maintain certification in noninvasive imaging

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree
• 0-5 years of experience post-training
• Board certified or eligible in Cardiology
• Current New York State Medical License
• Fellowship training in a subspecialty (Interventional Cardiology, Heart Failure, Echocardiography, or Nuclear Cardiology)
• Ability to complete medical clearance and participate in the medical surveillance program
