About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee all studio and field equipment, daily station operations, and technical staff
- Lead and guide the engineering team, including studio operators, IT, and RF specialists
- Manage IT integrity, security, and infrastructure
- Maintain transmitter, satellite antenna systems, signal distribution, and routing systems
- Ensure compliance with FCC requirements and licensing
- Assist in the execution of capital projects and maintain relationships with local vendors
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in Television Broadcast Operations/Maintenance
- Prior management experience
- Experience operating, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic equipment for broadcast and production environments
- Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders, and perform physical activities associated with equipment installation
- Must possess a current driver's license
- Ability to attend in-person at the Jackson, MS location
Preferred Qualifications
- Higher education in technology
- SBE certification
- Relevant military experience
