Assistant Chief Engineer

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Engineer in daily operations and maintenance tasks
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment and systems to ensure efficiency
• Help in the implementation of preventive maintenance programs
• Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
• Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance issues promptly
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards
• Support administrative practices of the department
• Assist with sustainability projects and initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Master's preferred)
• Minimum of 2 years of experience, preferably in hospitality or tourism
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Basic project management skills
• Ability to plan and execute sustainability initiatives
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
