Assistant Category Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of the innovation, renovation, and complexity reduction roadmap.
• Manage the full innovation funnel from insight generation and ideation through to feasibility, development, and launch.
• Build and manage detailed project timelines, coordinating with R&D, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Marketing teams.
• Own the weekly project review process, tracking milestones and managing risks or bottlenecks.
• Generate local market and operator insights through chef engagement, site visits, and research to shape portfolio decisions.
• Monitor innovation performance and optimize the portfolio by evaluating low-value SKUs and supporting margin improvement.
• Manage the artwork lifecycle, including briefing design agencies and ensuring stakeholder alignment.

Requirements

• 3+ years of marketing experience, preferably within an FMCG company.
• Proven experience in brand or marketing management with ownership of strategy and execution.
• Strong commercial understanding, including budget and performance management.
• Experience working cross-functionally within complex organizations.
• Exposure to innovation development and product launches.
• Ability to translate market insights into impactful business actions.
