Assistant Buyer

Responsibilities

• Maintain vendor relationships to ensure optimal cost, quality, and delivery schedules
• Communicate with vendors regarding item availability, stock levels by size/color, and minimum order quantities (MOQs)
• Analyze and forecast product performance and inventory levels using historical data and market trends
• Key purchase orders into the system and manage the upload process
• Monitor program buys and core items to manage inventory flow
• Present actionable recommendations to the Planning team for approval
• Recommend promotional activities to drive additional sales volume
• Stay at the forefront of industry fashion market trends and emerging merchandising best practices

Requirements

• 1+ years of experience in Replenishment, Data Analysis, or a similar field
• Proficiency in Excel with the ability to perform complex functions (SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, pivot tables)
• Proven experience analyzing data and providing actionable insights
• BA/BS degree in financial analysis, fashion merchandising, or a similar field
• A strong passion for fashion and trend analysis
• Ability to work onsite in Beverly Hills, CA during core business hours
