About the role
Responsibilities
- Assist the Business Office Manager with daily operations and business office functions
- Serve as backup to the BOM and perform BOM duties as needed
- Open and close resident accounts and process transferring/non-transferring accounts
- Manage and reconcile petty cash transactions and RFMS deposits
- Process monthly check payments for insurance, bills, and other approved expenses
- Submit invoices through Stampli and monitor outstanding invoices
- Complete representative payee applications and maintain required financial documentation
- Work directly with residents regarding RFMS and Social Security financial matters
Requirements
- Previous experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) is required
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and financial management systems
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in Business Office, Resident Accounts, Billing, Collections, or Accounts Payable
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, resident trust accounts, and healthcare billing processes
