About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the Lead Engineer in delivering highways structures schemes
- Assist with investigations, inspections, data analysis, and design development
- Produce technical designs, drawings, and documentation
- Undertake site visits and apply relevant standards such as DMRB and MCHW
- Work collaboratively to meet project and utilisation targets
- Promote SHEQ, CDM, and Health & Safety compliance across all activities
Requirements
- Degree, HNC, or HND in Civil Engineering
- Working towards IEng or CEng status
- Knowledge of structures design (maintenance or new build)
- Understanding of DMRB, MCHW, and CDM regulations
- Experience within an engineering consultancy environment
- Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills
