Assistant Branch Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage branch operations to ensure effective performance and achievement of budgetary and profit objectives
• Oversee branch assets, security, and the overall safety and well-being of staff
• Ensure operational compliance and maintain branch readiness for audits at all times
• Train, coach, and manage the performance of branch staff
• Support staff in responding to member complaints and resolving problems
• Interpret credit union policies and procedures for branch personnel
• Manage daily branch readiness, including opening procedures and ATM reconciliation
• Prepare monthly reports and oversee facility maintenance

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (some college preferred)
• Minimum of 3 years of related experience, including proven sales and lending competency
• Minimum of 2 years of management experience
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong interpersonal, oral communication, and writing skills
• Ability to work Monday through Friday with approximately 3 Saturdays per month
• Ability to travel to all branch locations as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a credit union
