About the role
Responsibilities
- Guide, direct, and coach employees to deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects
- Advise customers on financial products and strategies that meet their personal banking and credit card objectives
- Support sales and customer service activities to meet strategic profitability goals in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and accountability within the branch team
- Attract, retain, and enable the career development of top talent through coaching and performance management
- Resolve complex customer issues and coordinate service requests to ensure accurate follow-up
- Develop and maintain a community network to enhance the Bank’s visibility and build referral sources
- Analyze performance data and metrics to identify gaps and develop action plans to meet sales and service targets
- Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and risk management frameworks, including reporting suspicious activity
Requirements
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
- Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1-3 years of experience in banking, customer service, or sales
- Strong in-depth verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong collaboration and influence skills
- Knowledge of retail banking products, services, and applicable regulations
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous supervisory or management experience
