About the role

Responsibilities

  • Guide, direct, and coach employees to deliver exceptional service to BMO customers and prospects
  • Advise customers on financial products and strategies that meet their personal banking and credit card objectives
  • Support sales and customer service activities to meet strategic profitability goals in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Foster a culture of diversity, inclusion, and accountability within the branch team
  • Attract, retain, and enable the career development of top talent through coaching and performance management
  • Resolve complex customer issues and coordinate service requests to ensure accurate follow-up
  • Develop and maintain a community network to enhance the Bank’s visibility and build referral sources
  • Analyze performance data and metrics to identify gaps and develop action plans to meet sales and service targets
  • Ensure compliance with all legal, regulatory, and risk management frameworks, including reporting suspicious activity

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 1-3 years of experience in banking, customer service, or sales
  • Strong in-depth verbal and written communication skills
  • Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong collaboration and influence skills
  • Knowledge of retail banking products, services, and applicable regulations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous supervisory or management experience
