About the role
Responsibilities
- Support the boutique manager in directing operations to ensure exceptional customer service and profitable growth
- Drive sales performance and sales per hour by coaching and teaching sales behaviors
- Assign sales supervisor segments and shifts to the sales management team
- Manage and resolve customer relationship issues
- Support recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes to meet staffing guidelines
- Manage professional lifecycle of sales associates including training, retention, and career development
- Support labor budget management, target wage rates, and discretionary expenses
- Assist with physical inventory processes and loss prevention strategies
- Ensure visual merchandising standards are met and maintained
- Monitor replenishment processes to ensure sales floor is fully stocked according to brand guidelines
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment
Requirements
- Experience in retail management or assistant management roles
- Ability to lead, train, and develop a sales team
- Strong customer service and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency in managing operational tasks and labor budgets
