Assistant Baseball Coach

Responsibilities

• Assist the head coach in organizing, preparing, and conducting individual and team practices, training, and competitions.
• Support the design and implementation of workout programs, strength, and conditioning routines to improve athletic performance.
• Participate in recruitment efforts by identifying and following up with qualified prospective student-athletes.
• Assist with scouting, game statistics, and field maintenance.
• Engage in fundraising, marketing, and promotional activities for the baseball program.
• Perform administrative duties including equipment maintenance, budget monitoring, and travel coordination.
• Ensure the physical, emotional, and social welfare of student-athletes while adhering to all NCAA bylaws and university policies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
• 1-2 years of related coaching or training experience.
• Knowledge of strength and conditioning principles.
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR procedures.
• Ability to work a demanding schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to travel for away contests.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience coaching within an NCAA program.

Benefits

• Competitive compensation ranging from $73,000.00 to $75,000.00 per hour (based on qualifications and market conditions).
