Assistant Bars Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple bar areas and ensure high-standard operations during live shows and events
• Manage recruitment, training, and supervision of a diverse front-of-house team
• Handle stock management, including ordering, regular stock-takes, and cellar maintenance
• Drive financial success by assisting with revenue forecasting, cost control, and financial reporting
• Manage cash, process weekly payroll, and oversee deliveries
• Perform duty management at live events to ensure smooth operational running
• Maintain highest levels of cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with health and safety regulations

Requirements

• Experience in bar supervision or management within the hospitality or live venue industry
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and EPOS systems
• Strong knowledge of cellar management
• Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and licensing laws
• Demonstrable leadership skills and the ability to motivate others
• Flexibility to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Excellent communication skills and strong attention to detail
