About the role
Responsibilities
- Supervise event setup according to establishment standards and client specifications
- Coordinate teams and external service providers
- Ensure active field presence during events to guarantee service excellence
- Manage, motivate, and support chefs de rang, commis, maîtres d’hôtel, and extras
- Participate in recruitment, integration, and staff training
- Organize schedules based on operational constraints
- Act as the primary contact for clients before, during, and after events
- Contribute to budget monitoring, cost control, and margin optimization
- Supervise inventories, orders, and equipment management
- Collaborate with sales and catering teams to propose adapted event solutions
Requirements
- Proven experience in event catering or banquets, ideally in high-end establishments
- Significant managerial experience
- Strong leadership and pedagogical skills
- High level of customer orientation and service sense
- Ability to work under pressure and manage high volumes
- Proficiency in event management software and IT tools
- Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
