About the role

Responsibilities

  • Supervise event setup according to establishment standards and client specifications
  • Coordinate teams and external service providers
  • Ensure active field presence during events to guarantee service excellence
  • Manage, motivate, and support chefs de rang, commis, maîtres d’hôtel, and extras
  • Participate in recruitment, integration, and staff training
  • Organize schedules based on operational constraints
  • Act as the primary contact for clients before, during, and after events
  • Contribute to budget monitoring, cost control, and margin optimization
  • Supervise inventories, orders, and equipment management
  • Collaborate with sales and catering teams to propose adapted event solutions

Requirements

  • Proven experience in event catering or banquets, ideally in high-end establishments
  • Significant managerial experience
  • Strong leadership and pedagogical skills
  • High level of customer orientation and service sense
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage high volumes
  • Proficiency in event management software and IT tools
  • Fluency in English; additional languages are a plus
