Assistant Baker

Responsibilities

• Assist the Baker with preparing and baking goods from scratch
• Follow approved recipes, menus, and product directions
• Restock pastry shelves and maintain fresh, well-presented supplies
• Ensure quality of baked goods and desserts meets company standards
• Comply with all food hygiene and Food Safety regulations
• Clean, wash, and sanitize bakery equipment, tools, and work areas
• Assist with proper storage, labeling, and rotation of baked products

Requirements

• Bakery or food service experience
• Food Safety Certification
• Ability to maintain quality in a high-volume production setting
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 35 pounds
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and cleanliness
• Team-oriented attitude
