Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree, Master’s degree preferred, 2 years collegiate athletic training experience preferred, State of Maine AT licensure, NATA Certified, Computer proficiency, Valid driver’s license
About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide professional athletic training services to University of Maine student-athletes
- Assist in the daily operation and management of the sports medicine center
- Use independent judgment to manage and impart confidential medical information
- Support the health and safety of student-athletes through preventative and rehabilitative care
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree required (Master’s degree preferred)
- State of Maine Athletic Training licensure
- NATA Certification
- Proficiency with computers and digital documentation
- Valid driver’s license and ability to travel for athletic events
- Ability to lift loads up to 30 pounds
Preferred Qualifications
- 2 years of collegiate athletic training experience, preferably at the NCAA Division I level
- Experience in graduate assistantships or internships within a collegiate setting
