Assistant Athletic Trainer

Responsibilities

• Provide daily medical coverage for Men's and Women's Tennis programs, including injury prevention, assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation
• Maintain accurate injury records and coordinate transportation to medical appointments
• Assist with Pre-Participation Exams and collaborate with the Athletic Director of Health and Wellness, Sport Psychology, and Dietitian
• Serve as Medical Coordinator for post-season Tennis regional and championship events hosted by LSU
• Mentor and supervise one Intern Athletic Trainer and various Athletic Training Students
• Participate in recruiting visits and support LSU Athletics Department initiatives

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant field
• Two years of collegiate or professional athletic training experience
• NATA certification held for a minimum of 2 years
• Eligibility for Louisiana state licensure
• Current CPR/AED Certification
• Valid Driver's license
• Ability to work extended days, weekends, and travel as required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with a Division 1 tennis program
