Assistant Athletic Trainer

Responsibilities

• Provide prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and illnesses
• Counsel and educate student athletes regarding injury management and wellness
• Perform athletic training administrative duties and maintain accurate records
• Cover home and away events for high-risk sports and post-season national events
• Supervise and educate athletic training intern students
• Collaborate with doctors and allied health professionals to deliver high-quality care
• Support various sports including Basketball, Volleyball, Soccer, Baseball, Softball, and Acrobatics/Tumbling

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in an appropriate area of specialization
• NATA BOC Certification
• Valid State Athletic Training Licensure
• Familiarity with NCAA governing rules

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional experience in collegiate athletics
• Master's degree in a relevant field
