About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily medical services including prevention, first aid, emergency care, and rehabilitation
  • Maintain accurate and confidential injury record management
  • Complete worker’s compensation documentation in a timely manner
  • Maintain medical equipment and provide input on supply procurement
  • Serve as the primary athletic trainer for a designated team
  • Collaborate with Strength & Conditioning Coaches to design and execute sports-specific programs
  • Coordinate with team physicians and local medical professionals to ensure optimal player health
  • Adhere to all Athletes Unlimited Pro Sports and AUSL health, safety, and anti-discrimination policies

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years experience in professional sports or high-level collegiate athletic training
  • Minimum 3 years experience managing staff in an athletic training environment
  • Experience working with female athletes, preferably in softball or baseball
  • Master’s degree in athletic training, Exercise Science, Kinesiology, or a similar field
  • Current and active NATABOC certification and eligibility for state licensure
  • Current CPR and AED certification
  • Ability to travel and work weekends or non-traditional hours
  • Availability from August 2 to August 31

Preferred Qualifications

  • Corrective Exercise Specialist (CES)
  • Performance Enhancement Specialist (PES)
  • Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS)
  • Dry Needling or IASTM certification
  • CPR Instructor certification
