About the role
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative leadership and direct service for sports medicine as the head athletic trainer
- Coordinate schedules for athletic trainers and athletic teams for treatment and oversight during games and practices
- Provide direct athletic training services to NCF students
- Maintain and coordinate electronic medical records, ensuring all documentation is complete and up-to-date
- Coordinate medical care for injured athletes through outside medical referrals
- Manage coordination between athletes and secondary insurance providers
- Collaborate with counseling services for athletes requiring clinical or sports performance interventions
- Manage inventory, including monthly documentation, supply requests, and equipment maintenance
Requirements
- Master's degree in Athletic Training
- Licensed Athletic Trainer (LAT) in the state of Florida
- Athletic Trainer Certified (ATC) credential
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without requiring immigration sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
- Four years of experience working in athletic training related areas
- At least two years of experience working in a collegiate setting
