Assistant Athletic Director for Facilities

About the role
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day operations of indoor and outdoor athletic facilities, including Neil Carey Arena, Lewis Stadium, and the indoor fieldhouse.
- Develop and manage facility schedules and implement operational policies and procedures.
- Coordinate event management for home athletic contests, including setup of sound systems, audio/visual equipment, and scoreboard panels.
- Manage and supervise a team of approximately 20-25 student workers.
- Act as a liaison between athletics and other campus departments such as Facilities, Campus Police, and Sodexo.
- Perform routine maintenance and inventory of athletic facility supplies and equipment.
- Assist in long-range planning for facilities and recommend technology improvements.
- Manage related budgets and establish facilities revenue goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- 8+ years of experience in facility and operations management.
- Proficiency in Daktronics and various Audio/Visual software.
- Experience with network connections, live streaming, and in-game recording.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holiday breaks as required by the athletic schedule.
- Strong organizational, coordinating, and independent judgment skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in athletic facility administration and NCAA Division II game operations.
